Coley Brings it home at Homestead
Tim Coley brings it home as a combination of great driving, great pitting and zero cautions spelled victory for the 91 car at Homestead tonight. It was no surprise that Coley would come to form quickly, racing in only his second appearence of the season. Hard on his tail all night was the 46 car of Dave Fink who was just waiting for one slip up from the 91 car to take the lead. Tonight was a night that just 1 simple caution would of benefitted several wall tapped cars, but that caution never happened. Great racing by all!
Fink came in behind Coley to take second followed by Jenkins, newcomer Shawn Campbell, and Shuit to round off the top 5. Please join us next Thursday as the Chase continues at North Carolina Speedway.

Jay Shuit wins a close one at Daytona to finish the "regular" season for his 6th win of the year. Following Jay was teammate Dave Fink to get 2nd and Tim Coley 3rd in his first race at NARL in awhile. The Chase is set that starts next week as Dave will start of with 70 Bonus points and Jay with 60 over the rest of the field.
The Chase starts next week Feb. 4th in Homestead,,, CYA ALL THERE...

Dave Fink pulls away to win at Martinsville with his 7th win of the year as the race would only have 2 cautions. This Martinsville race was the best in years as many did say. Drew Eisenman would return to racing and take the pole with a lap of 21.033 and go on to lead 82 laps but Dave would lead 93 laps as they were the only two leaders of the race. Don Goniwicha would luck out and stay on the lead lap at the end to finish 2nd, Rob Jenkins got 3rd, followed by Drew in 4th and Brad Atkinson 5th. Next week we head off to Daytona for the final race before the Chase,, Cya There..... |
